Mitchem’s Coated Sodium Percarbonate is an oxygen-based bleaching and disinfecting agent in which each granule is encapsulated with a protective sodium silicate or sodium sulphate coating. This coating dramatically extends shelf life in finished detergent formulations, preventing premature oxygen release during storage. The coated grade is the formulator’s choice for powder laundry detergents, oxygen bleach boosters, and dishwasher detergents where stability-in-mix is critical. On dissolution, it releases hydrogen peroxide — providing effective colour-safe bleaching, odour elimination, and mild disinfection without chlorine residues. Available with active oxygen content of 13.0–13.5%, and supplied with full CoA and MSDS documentation for international export.
